“You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” (2 Timothy 2:1, NKJV)
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God… rightly dividing the word of truth.” (v. 15)

📖 ANALYZE THE MESSAGE (What does it mean?)
1. Be Strong and Pass It On (vv. 1–2)
“Be strong in the grace…”
Strength doesn’t come from self, but from God’s grace
“Commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
Ministry is generational — multiply truth through others
2. Endure Like a Soldier, Athlete, Farmer (vv. 3–7)
“Endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”
Discipleship involves sacrifice, focus, and loyalty
“No one engaged in warfare entangles himself…”
Avoid distractions — stay mission-focused
“Competes… not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.”
Faithfulness requires discipline and integrity
“The hardworking farmer must be first to partake…”
Spiritual fruit comes from persistent effort
3. Remember Jesus Christ and Endure (vv. 8–13)
“Remember that Jesus Christ… was raised from the dead…”
Keep the resurrection and gospel central
“I suffer trouble… but the word of God is not chained.”
You may be bound, but God’s Word is unstoppable
“If we died with Him, we shall also live with Him.”
Union with Christ brings eternal hope
“If we are faithless, He remains faithful…”
God’s faithfulness doesn’t depend on our performance
4. Handle the Word and Avoid Disputes (vv. 14–19)
“Remind them… not to strive about words…”
Don’t get lost in arguments that don’t edify
“Be diligent to present yourself approved… rightly dividing the word…”
Study and teach with accuracy and care
“Shun profane and idle babblings…”
Avoid godless chatter that leads people astray
“Their message will spread like cancer…”
False doctrine is dangerous and contagious
“Nevertheless, the solid foundation of God stands…”
God’s truth remains firm, even when others fall away
5. Be a Vessel for Honor (vv. 20–26)
“In a great house… some for honor, some for dishonor.”
Every believer chooses whether to be useful or unclean
“If anyone cleanses himself… he will be a vessel for honor…”
Holiness makes us ready for God’s work
“Flee youthful lusts; pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace…”
Don’t just run from sin — run toward Christlike character
“Avoid foolish and ignorant disputes…”
Don’t get pulled into unfruitful debates
“A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle…”
Ministers of truth must show patience, humility, and clarity
