Disclosure Day Is Coming

Disclosure Day Is Coming β€” But Not the One Hollywood Is Selling UFO files, a Spielberg blockbuster, and the cover story being prepared for the moment the trumpet sounds.
On May 8, 2026, the Pentagon opened the doors. One hundred and sixty-two declassified files β€” photographs, videos, witness statements, astronaut transcripts, military records reaching back to 1944 β€” were pushed onto a brand-new federal website called PURSUE: the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters. The Secretary of War said the word was “transparency.” The President said the word was “disclosure.” More files are promised on a rolling basis.

Then, on June 12, Steven Spielberg’s first film in four years arrives in theaters. Its title is Disclosure Day. Its tagline is striking:

“If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people.”

The drumbeat is unmistakable. Government, military, media, and Hollywood β€” all marching in the same direction at the same moment, all preaching the same sermon: You are not alone. Something else is out there. The story you were told about reality is incomplete.

For the watching Christian, this is not a curiosity. It is a signpost.
The Problem: A World Being Prepared to Believe Something
Strip the headlines down to their frame and the message is identical across outlets. The government has been hiding something. There is intelligence beyond our own. We are not the apex of the universe. A new chapter of human understanding is opening, and you are invited β€” finally β€” to step into it.

That framing is the problem. Not the question of whether grainy footage of a tic-tac shape over the Pacific has a mundane explanation. The deeper question is what the culture is being shaped to expect. For seventy years the West has been catechized in extraterrestrial categories by film, television, and now, increasingly, by its own government. The soil is being tilled. Something is being planted.

And the planting is happening alongside everything else the Lord told us to watch for. Israel surrounded. Wars and rumors of wars. Lawlessness multiplied. Apostasy spreading inside the visible church. Famines, earthquakes, plagues β€” labor pains tightening (Matthew 24:6–8). A generation that mocks the very idea of a returning King while simultaneously bracing for a cosmic announcement of someone else coming down from the sky.

The timing is not accidental. The sky is being prepared.
What the Bible Actually Says About the Sky
Two passages first. Then a third that ties them together.

1 Corinthians 15:51–52 (NASB1995):

“Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.”

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17:

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.”

Sit with the language. The rapture is not stealthy. It is not subtle. It is not a quiet disappearance under cover of darkness that could be confused with anything else by the people being raptured. The Lord Himself descends. A shout. The voice of an archangel. The trumpet of God. Bodies changed in the twinkling of an eye. The dead in Christ rising first. The living swept up to meet the Lord in the air.

For those who are caught up, there will be no confusion. They will see Him.

But the world that remains? The world that wakes up the next morning to empty beds, empty offices, empty pulpits, missing children, missing spouses, missing pilots in mid-flight, missing surgeons in mid-incision? That world will need a story.

And here is the third passage β€” the hinge that ties the headlines to the prophecy:

2 Thessalonians 2:9–11:

“…that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false.”

A deluding influence. A strong delusion. A lie so thorough that God Himself will permit it as judicial judgment on hearts that refused the truth when it was offered.

The lie has to be ready before the trumpet sounds. The lie has to be plausible. The lie has to feel like the next obvious chapter of the story the world has already been telling itself.

A cosmic intervention. A higher intelligence. A new step in human evolution. An abduction of those whose primitive thinking was holding the species back.

You see what is being built.
Where UFOs Actually Fit
Here we have to be careful. Scripture does not name UFOs. Scripture does name the principalities that operate in the heavens.

Ephesians 6:12:

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

2 Corinthians 11:14:

“No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.”

The Bible’s universe is not the materialist’s universe. It is populated. Heavenly places contain spiritual forces. Satan is no folk character β€” he is a strategist, and his most reliable tool is counterfeit. Counterfeit prophets. Counterfeit miracles. Counterfeit Christs. Counterfeit light. Counterfeit angels.

There is a long historical pattern of fallen-angel deception masquerading as something other than what it is. Genesis 6 records the days when the sons of God came down and intermingled with the daughters of men, producing the Nephilim, “the mighty men who were of old, men of renown” (Gen. 6:4). The pattern is not new. The packaging is. What the ancients called gods descending from the sky, the moderns call visitors. The costume changed. The strategy did not.

So when serious teachers β€” Amir Tsarfati among them β€” say that the UFO phenomenon is most plausibly understood as demonic deception in technological clothing, they are not being sensational. They are reading the Bible’s account of the heavens and refusing to pretend Scripture has nothing to say. The lights, the abductions, the missing time, the contact experiences that consistently produce occult fruit and anti-Christ theology in those who undergo them β€” these are not the marks of benevolent science teachers from another solar system. They are the marks of an old enemy with a new uniform.

UFOs are most likely demonic.
What the Rapture Will Not Be
Now hear this clearly, because the distinction matters.

The rapture itself will not be demonic. The rapture is the act of the risen Christ. It is the bridegroom coming for the bride. It is the gathering of the saints. It carries the voice of an archangel and the trumpet of God. It is light, not darkness. It is grace, not deception. It is consummation, not abduction.

What will be demonic is the explanation pasted over the rapture by a world that refuses to confess Jesus is Lord.

Imagine the morning after. Millions are gone. Planes have fallen. Cars sit driverless in the middle of intersections. Mothers stand over empty cribs. A child’s car-seat in the back of a minivan, harness clicked, blanket warm, child gone. The world demands an answer at 7:00 a.m.

What answer is already prepared?

Not “the Lord Jesus came for His people.” That answer is intolerable to the post-Christian imagination.

The answer prepared in advance is the one being rehearsed right now in declassified video reels and summer blockbusters: They were taken. By something else. By someone else. The visitors selected them. The species is being elevated. The truth β€” the real truth β€” finally belongs to all seven billion of us who are left.

This is the strong delusion in 4K resolution.

It will be marketed as the most liberating moment in human history. The disappearance of the most religious, the most “backward,” the most narrow-minded β€” sublimated into a cosmic upgrade. The world will not grieve the missing. It will celebrate its evolution past them.

Paul wrote that God would send this deluding influence. Not because He delights in deception, but because hearts that refuse the love of the truth eventually get exactly what they have asked for. A lie they can live with. A lie that lets them keep the throne.
The Pattern Was Always There
Pharaoh’s magicians threw down their staffs and produced serpents too (Exodus 7:11–12). Simon the magician dazzled Samaria for years (Acts 8:9–11). Jesus warned that false christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect (Matthew 24:24).

Counterfeit is the enemy’s signature. He never invents β€” he only mimics. The ascension is mimicked by abduction. The angelic appearance is mimicked by the “gray.” The descent of the New Jerusalem is mimicked by motherships. The presence of the Holy Spirit is mimicked by “contact.” The trumpet of God is mimicked by sky phenomena that will be played in slow motion on every screen on earth.

Do not be naΓ―ve about the timing of the current push. Disclosure narratives have circled for decades. They are accelerating right now, in this hour, while the geopolitical map screams the lateness of the prophetic clock. The world is being prepped to accept a different sky-story than the one Scripture has told for two thousand years.
So What Do You Do With This?
Three things. Plainly.

First β€” anchor yourself in the actual text. Not in speculation. Not in the latest podcast. Not in a YouTube documentary with ominous music. Sit with 1 Corinthians 15, 1 Thessalonians 4, 2 Thessalonians 2, Matthew 24, Revelation 4–22. Let the words shape your imagination of what is coming. The believer who knows the Word does not panic when the headlines crescendo.

Second β€” refuse the delusion now, before it is offered. The strong delusion of 2 Thessalonians 2 is reserved for those who “did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.” It is not arbitrary. It is the divine response to a chronic, willful refusal. Receive the truth now. Plant your feet on the gospel today, so that when the world’s story crashes through your living room, you are not even tempted.

Third β€” be sober and watchful. Peter wrote, “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8). Sober means clear-headed. Alert means awake. You don’t need a tinfoil hat. You need a Bible, a quiet morning, and an unhurried walk with the Lord. That alone is enough to immunize a believer against the most sophisticated cover story Hollywood can produce.
The Decision That Cannot Wait
There is a coming morning β€” and it may be very close β€” when the question of whether you were in Christ will no longer be theoretical. The trumpet does not check schedules. The Lord does not consult convenience. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye the line will be drawn, and every person on earth will be standing on one side of it or the other.

If you are reading this and have never bent the knee, do not let a single news cycle pass first.

Romans 10:9–10:

“…that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”

Confess. Believe. Be saved. The cross paid the debt. The empty tomb proves the receipt. The blood of Christ is more than sufficient to cover everything you have ever done and everything you have ever feared. Put your full weight on Him today. Today. Not after the next file drop. Not after the movie. Today.
Closing β€” Watch the Sky, but Watch Him More
The world is staring at the sky waiting for ships.

The Church is staring at the sky waiting for a Savior.

Only one of those expectations will be answered. The other will be rebranded into a story the world can swallow β€” and that story is being written in real time, in plain sight, in the language of declassified PDFs and IMAX trailers.

When the trumpet sounds, there will be no mistaking it for an alien craft by anyone who is caught up. The Lord Himself will descend with a shout. The archangel’s voice. The trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

For those left behind, the lie will already be cued up. Disclosure Day indeed.

Don’t be in the audience that morning.

Be in the air.

Maranatha β€” come quickly, Lord Jesus.
