Theme: The Two Paths – Remaining or Being Cut Off
—
🌱 Devotional Thought
Proverbs 2 paints a picture of two very different outcomes depending on which path we choose:
1. The Path of the Righteous (v. 21)
“For the upright will inhabit the land, and those with integrity will remain in it.”
The righteous walk in wisdom and truth.
Their lives are marked by integrity, and God establishes them securely.
To “remain in the land” means living under God’s blessing, protection, and care.
2. The Path of the Wicked (v. 22)
“But the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the treacherous will be rooted out of it.”
The wicked follow crooked ways and deceit.
Their lives may look successful for a time, but the end is destruction.
To be “cut off” and “rooted out” is to lose God’s blessing, presence, and inheritance.
Key Truth: Every day, our choices place us on one of these two paths. God’s wisdom entering our hearts helps us stay on the path of life, not the path that ends in being cut off.

🙏 Family Prayer
“Lord, thank You for showing us the two paths — the way of wisdom that remains in Your blessing, and the way of wickedness that is cut off. Give us wisdom in our hearts, guard our steps, and keep us as a family on the path of life. Help us to walk with integrity and to stay near You always. Amen.”
