Romans Road: God’s Simple Plan of Salvation

✝️ Romans Road: God’s Simple Plan of Salvation

📖 Understanding the Problem

Before we can grasp the beauty of God’s gift, we must first understand why we need it.

Romans 3:23 tells us:

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

This means every person—no matter how good they seem—has missed God’s perfect standard.
👉 Sin entered the world through Adam and Eve’s disobedience in the garden. That one act of rebellion against God brought separation, guilt, and death into the human race.

⚖️ The Penalty of Sin

Sin isn’t just a mistake—it has a consequence.

Romans 6:23a warns:

“For the wages of sin is death.”

  • Death here means more than physical death.
  • It means eternal separation from God.
  • Without help, we stand condemned.

➡️ This is the bad news that makes the good news so powerful.

💝 The Provision of Christ

Here is the turning point: God Himself stepped into history to rescue us.

Romans 5:8 says:

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

  • Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lived a perfect life we could never live.
  • He died the death we deserved.
  • He rose again to give us eternal life.

Romans 6:23b proclaims the hope:

“…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

👉 Notice the contrast: wages are earned, but a gift is freely given. Salvation cannot be bought—it must be received.

🙌 The Promise of Salvation

Salvation is not about religion, rituals, or good works. It is about a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9–10 declares:

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 10:13 assures us:

“For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

👉 This promise is for everyone. No matter your past, God’s gift of forgiveness is available to you.

🌿 The Result: Peace & New Life

When we place our faith in Jesus, everything changes.

Romans 5:1 promises:

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Romans 8:1 declares freedom:

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.”

✨ In Christ, guilt is gone, shame is lifted, and eternal life begins—now and forever.

📝 How Will You Respond?

  • We all sinned.
  • Sin brings death.
  • Christ died for us.
  • Salvation is a free gift.
  • By faith, you can receive eternal life today.

👉 This is God’s invitation to you.

🙏 Closing Prayer

“Lord Jesus, I admit I am a sinner in need of Your grace. Thank You for dying for me, rising again, and offering eternal life. I confess You as Lord and trust in You as my Savior. From this day forward, I am Yours. Amen.”
