Trusting the God Who Holds It All
God is sovereign. “The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all” (Psalm 103:19). Nothing in my life is outside His rule.
God is in control. “He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings” (Daniel 2:21). What feels uncertain to me is already secure in His hands.
God knows me and loves me. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:5). “I have loved you with an everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3). His love for me is personal and unshakable.
The same God who created the universe holds it in place. “By Him all things were created… and in Him all things consist” (Colossians 1:16–17). The galaxies obey His word, and so will I.
God has good plans for me. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11). His plan for me is always good.
I will trust God with all my heart. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding”(Proverbs 3:5–6). His wisdom is greater than mine.
Nothing happens without His permission. “Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will” (Matthew 10:29).
I will not worry. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6–7). His peace guards my heart.
I will trust Him. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord” (Jeremiah 17:7).
I will obey Him. “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15).
I will wait on His timing. “Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles” (Isaiah 40:31).
The Creator of the heavens and the earth is the same God who knows my name, writes my story, and promises me a future filled with hope. What an amazing God I serve.
♥️♥️♥️
Father, You are sovereign, in control, and full of love. Thank You that nothing happens without Your permission and that every detail of my life is held in Your hands. Help me trust You fully, obey You daily, and wait on Your perfect timing. Teach me not to worry but to rest in Your promises. You are the God who created the universe—and yet You know me by name. I give You all the glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
