Isaiah 43 – Redeemed, Called, and Carried
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.” (Isaiah 43:1, NKJV)
“Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me.” (v. 10)
🔍 CAPTURE THE SCENE (What Do I See?)
- God reassures Israel: “You are Mine.”
- He promises to be with them through waters, fire, and trials.
- Declares His identity as the only true God and Savior.
- Calls Israel to witness His greatness.
- Reminds them of past deliverance—Exodus and beyond—but points toward new things.
- Rebukes them for neglecting worship and turning to sin.
📖 ANALYZE THE MESSAGE (What Does It Mean?)
1. You Are Mine (vv. 1–2)
- God reminds Israel: “I created you, formed you, redeemed you.”
- The result: Fear not—you are known, named, and claimed.
- God promises presence and protection through every trial.
2. You Are Precious (vv. 3–7)
- God declares Himself as Savior and speaks of rescuing Israel.
- He will gather His people from every direction—north, south, east, and west.
- God says, “You are precious in My sight… I have loved you.”
3. You Are My Witnesses (vv. 8–13)
- God calls Israel to testify that He alone is God.
- Unlike idols, He foretells and fulfills.
- “Before Me there was no God formed… I am He.”
- His actions are irrevocable—no one can reverse His work.
4. I Make a Way (vv. 14–21)
- Refers to the Exodus—God made a path through the sea.
- Yet He says, “Forget the former things—I’m doing a new thing.”
- Streams in the desert and roads in the wilderness represent spiritual renewal and future restoration.
5. You Forgot Me (vv. 22–28)
- Despite God’s mercy, Israel grew weary of Him.
- They offered no sacrifices, no praise, yet multiplied sins.
- Still, God declares: “I blot out your transgressions for My own sake.”
- God calls out their hypocrisy and points to judgment.

Key Principle: You belong to a God who knows your name, walks with you through trials, and forgives you even when you fail Him. His love is covenantal, not conditional. But that love calls for a response—worship, witness, and a return to Him.

- You are not forgotten—you are named and redeemed.
- When trials come, remember: “You are Mine.”
- Let Him Lead You Through the Fire
- Don’t avoid the storm—walk through it with Him.
- You won’t be burned, drowned, or abandoned.
- Expect New Things
- Don’t get stuck in past miracles or mistakes.
- God’s not finished—He’s doing something new.
- Repent of Cold Worship
- Have you grown tired of God while He never tires of you?
- Return to praise and presence.
- Be a Witness to the World
- Tell others what only God could do.
- You’ve seen too much to stay silent.
