Elijah

Episode 1: “A Voice in the Wilderness”

I am Elijah, a prophet of the Lord, called to confront the wickedness of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel in Israel. My mission began with a bold declaration: there would be no rain in the land except at my word, as a sign of God’s judgment.

Episode 2: “Ravens and the Widow”

During the drought, God sent me to the Kerith Ravine, where ravens brought me food. When the brook dried up, He directed me to a widow in Zarephath. Despite her poverty, she provided for me, and her jar of flour and jug of oil never ran out, a miracle of God’s provision.

Episode 3: “The Contest on Mount Carmel”

I challenged the prophets of Baal to a contest on Mount Carmel to prove whose god was real. While Baal’s prophets prayed in vain, I called on the Lord, and fire fell from heaven, consuming the sacrifice. The people fell prostrate, declaring, “The Lord—He is God!”

Episode 4: “Praying for Rain”

After the victory on Mount Carmel, I prayed for rain. Despite the clear skies, I sent my servant to look toward the sea. On the seventh time, he saw a cloud as small as a man’s hand. Soon, the sky grew black, and a heavy rain fell, ending the drought.

Episode 5: “Fleeing from Jezebel”

Queen Jezebel vowed to kill me for slaying her prophets. I fled to the wilderness, discouraged and ready to die. But an angel of the Lord provided food and water, strengthening me for a journey of forty days and nights to Mount Horeb.

Episode 6: “The Still, Small Voice”

At Mount Horeb, I experienced a powerful wind, an earthquake, and a fire, but the Lord was not in them. Then came a gentle whisper, and God spoke to me, giving me new instructions and reassurances, renewing my purpose as His prophet.

Episode 7: “Anointing Elisha”

God instructed me to anoint Elisha as my successor. I found him plowing with twelve yoke of oxen and threw my cloak over him. Elisha left everything to follow me, becoming my disciple and companion, prepared to carry on the work of the Lord.

Episode 8: “Confronting Ahab Again”

I confronted King Ahab again, prophesying his downfall and the end of his dynasty due to his and Jezebel’s wickedness. Despite his temporary repentance, the judgment on his house remained, foretelling the violent end of their reign.

Episode 9: “The Chariot of Fire”

My time on earth was drawing to a close. As Elisha and I walked together, a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared, and I was taken up to heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha witnessed this and received a double portion of my spirit, continuing the prophetic ministry.

Episode 10: “Elijah’s Legacy”

Though I was taken up to heaven, my legacy endured. My life and ministry inspired future generations, and I appeared with Moses during Jesus’ transfiguration, representing the prophets. My story is a testament to God’s power and faithfulness.
