It was an ordinary day in Nazareth when the extraordinary happened. The angel Gabriel appeared to me with a message that would change my life forever. “You will conceive and bear a son,” he said, “and you shall call his name Jesus.” In awe and submission, I responded, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” In that moment, my journey as the mother of the Savior began.

Filled with wonder and excitement, I traveled to visit my relative Elizabeth, who was also experiencing a miraculous pregnancy. As soon as I greeted her, Elizabeth’s baby leaped in her womb. She exclaimed, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!” Overwhelmed by God’s goodness, I sang a song of praise, the Magnificat, celebrating His mercy and faithfulness.

Episode 3: “The Nativity”
In Bethlehem, amidst humble surroundings, I gave birth to Jesus. There was no room in the inn, so we found shelter in a stable. Surrounded by animals, I laid my baby in a manger. Shepherds came, led by angels, to witness the birth of the Savior. In that holy night, God incarnate entered the world.

Episode 4: “Simeon’s Prophecy”
When we presented Jesus at the Temple, an elderly man named Simeon took Him in his arms and praised God. Warned by an angel, Joseph and I fled to Egypt with Jesus to escape King Herod’s wrath. In a foreign land, we found refuge until it was safe to return. The journey was arduous, but it fulfilled the prophecy that God’s Son would be called out of Egypt. We eventually settled back in Nazareth, where Jesus grew in wisdom and stature.

Episode 6: “The Finding in the Temple”
During a Passover festival in Jerusalem, we lost track of Jesus. After three anxious days, we found Him in the Temple, discussing with the teachers. “Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?” He asked. I treasured these moments in my heart, pondering the mystery of my son’s mission.

Episode 7: “The Wedding at Cana”
At a wedding in Cana, I noticed the wine had run out and approached Jesus. “They have no wine,” I told Him. Despite His initial hesitation, Jesus performed His first miracle, turning water into wine. I told the servants, “Do whatever He tells you,” showing my unwavering faith in His divine power.

Episode 8: “At the Cross”
Standing near the cross, my heart broke as I watched my son suffer. Jesus, in His final moments, entrusted me to the care of His beloved disciple, John. “Woman, behold your son,” He said. “Behold your mother,” He told John. Simeon’s prophecy was fulfilled as my soul was pierced with sorrow.
