My cousin Mordecai uncovers a sinister plot against the king, a move that saves a throne but sows the seeds of a greater threat. Haman, a man poisoned by his own ambition, plots the destruction of my people. The danger is close, and I must face it, though I am hidden in plain sight.
Episode 4: “Braveheart”
I am faced with an impossible choice: to save my people, I must risk my life and approach the king unsummoned. With each step towards the throne, I am prepared to say, “If I die, I die.” But grace shines upon me, and I am welcomed. The time to act is now.
Episode 5: “Shark Tank”
I hold the first banquet, a web of my own making, to capture the king’s interest. My heart races as I delay my plea for another day. Haman, blind to his fate, prepares to end Mordecai’s life, not realizing the gallows he builds for another are overshadowing him.
Episode 6: “Insomnia”
It’s a night when sleep escapes the king, and my cousin’s good deed comes to light. Mordecai is honored, and Haman is commanded to lead the man he wished to destroy through the city. The tables are turning, and I can feel the hand of Providence at work.
Episode 7: “Flip or Flop”
At my second banquet, I reveal the full truth: my identity as a Jew and Haman’s vile plan. In a moment of divine justice, Haman faces the fate he designed for Mordecai. With courage, I have turned despair into hope.
Episode 8: “Undercover Boss”
With Haman’s downfall, Mordecai and I craft a new edict, allowing our people to defend themselves. We watch as sorrow turns to joy, and Mordecai’s wisdom is recognized. I, Esther, once hidden, now stand as a testament to deliverance, my story forever remembered in the feast of Purim.
