Good morning Smith Family

Starting again is something I should do routinely as to not become comfortable or prideful in that I have arrived. I pray that humbly submit to the service of our God daily or even moment by moment. Sin may separate me but my repentance with His forgiveness is immensely loving as I am embraced like the prodigal son. May we start again a new.

Thanks, Daniel. The narrow path is hard and we will fall off the path from time to time. God, is faithful and ready to help us back on the path. Having the right attitude is critical to seeking God. Humbly and broken we come to God in our weakness and He will use us in powerful ways!

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.”
‭‭James‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬-‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

I like the idea of daily Bible study and group reflections. Would be cool to have a call once a week just to catch up. My desire is for mom and Tim to join in. I would offer the invitation to our spouses or significant others and even our kids. Not everyone will join, but some may and that is cool. If mom only joins once a week that would be amazing. No pressure. Just an opportunity to humbly share.

We should also keep prayer requests and actively pray for each other.

I love the idea of studying James but a game for anything. I just want Mom and Tim and possibly others to join in. Let’s be open to expanding our circle.

Love Ed
