Brothers and Sister, I am so excited that to kick off our family blog. The purpose of this blog site is to encourage each other and hold each other accountable as we grow in our relationships together and with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I am humbled to have such an awesome family.
Danny suggested that we begin with studying the same scriptures/biblical subject. This is a great suggestion. Please reply to this post with your ideas of what we should study. Would like to see a reply from all of you.
Please post a response to this question. What do you want to get out of this family blog? I would like to open this up to our family too. In some cases, we may want to keep certain topics off of the blog and discuss via Messaging. But, I believe God can use this form of communication to open up hearts within our family and to grow our relationship with God and each other.
Danny mentioned how the movie War Room affecting him. This is a powerful movie with a piercing message. I personally have not been living for Christ like I should. I was touched by my siblings sharing what God is doing in your lives. I am excited to dust off my Bible and get back into God’s Word. I commit to reading God’s Word daily and praying for each of you daily. I am excited about not just reading but studying and feasting on God’s Word!!
I may write out my prayers at times so you know what I am praying and what is on my heart. I serve a good God who is in complete control of everything going on. God does not make mistakes. He is the master of orchestrating events and circumstances for His glory. He has given us a book of promises that we can hold onto when we go through the trials of life.
