“Jesus Wept” – John 11:35 (NKJV) 😢✝️

The shortest verse in the Bible, yet one of the most powerful.

📖 Context:

• Jesus arrived at Lazarus’ tomb after he had been dead for four days 🪦

• Mary & Martha were grieving 😭

• Seeing their sorrow, Jesus was deeply moved & wept 😢

💡 Why Did Jesus Weep?

1️⃣ He felt deep compassion for Mary & Martha ❤️

2️⃣ He grieved over death & sin’s impact on the world 💔

3️⃣ He showed His humanity—Jesus understands our pain 🥺

4️⃣ He knew He would raise Lazarus, yet still shared in their sorrow 🙏

🔥 What It Means for Us:

• Jesus cares when we hurt 🥲

• He walks with us in grief 🤝

• His tears remind us that He is near 💕

• Hope! Lazarus was raised, and Jesus has power over death ✝️

🙌 Jesus wept… but then He brought resurrection! 💥 Hope is coming! 🕊️
