Devotional to Mom, Eddie , Susie and Timmy on Psalm 4:

Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer.
– Psalm 4:1

Psalm 4 is a heartfelt cry from David, turning to God in times of distress, and finding peace in Him. David asks God to hear him, to come close, and to comfort him with His presence. No matter what we face, this psalm reminds us that we can call on God, who listens with care and compassion. God is our true source of peace and joy, filling us with strength and hope, even when we’re in the middle of life’s challenges.

Encouragement:

For Mom: Just like David, you can call on God at any time. He knows your heart and will bring you peace, comfort, and joy. He sees all your hard work and dedication and honors your faithful spirit. May He bless you with deep rest and a renewed sense of His presence.

For Eddie: God hears you when you call out to Him, even in those silent moments. He is your protector and your guide, offering comfort when you need it most. Trust in His steadfast love, knowing He surrounds you with peace that overcomes any worry.

For Susie: This psalm is a reminder that God is close, especially in times when we need relief. Remember that you can rely on Him for strength and comfort in every moment. He is faithful, and His love is there to carry you through any season.

For Timmy: Just like David, you can talk to God and know He hears you. He wants to give you peace and joy. May you find comfort in His presence and strength for all the things on your heart. He is always near, guiding you with His light.

Prayer:

Dear Lord,
We lift up our hearts to You, as David did, calling upon Your name in our times of need. For Mom, Eddie, Susie, and Timmy, I ask that You give them peace that surpasses all understanding. Fill their hearts with Your love, joy, and comfort. Remind them of Your faithfulness and help them find rest in Your presence. May they feel Your closeness and know that You are their refuge, their guide, and their friend. Be gracious to each of them, dear Lord, and hear their prayers.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
